Project: SER200245 – Construction of Storm & Sanitary Sewers and Appurtenances including Water Main & BMP Work in Acacia Ave., Staten Island, NY

Client: NYC Dept. of Design & Construction

Cost: ~$25 million

YOR Engineering provided the Resident Engineering & Inspection Services for this project which includes the installation of storm & sanitary sewers (on timber & CFA piles) as well as distribution water main. This project also included restoration work in the way of sidewalk, curb, & roadway reconstruction. The environmental/BMP (Best Management Practices) aspect of this project included the reconstruction of Wood Duck Pond within Staten Island.


Project: SANDR01 – Hylan Blvd. Streetscape Improvements Including Distribution & Trunk Water Main, Sanitary & Storm Sewers & BMP Work, Staten Island, NY

Client: NYC Dept. of Design & Construction

Cost: ~$26 million

YOR Engineering provided the Resident Engineering & Inspection Services for this project which included the installation of storm & sanitary sewers (on displacement piles) as well as distribution & trunk water main. This project also included restoration work in the way of sidewalk, curb, & roadway reconstruction. The environmental/BMP (Best Management Practices) aspect of this project included the full reconstruction of New Creek Pond within Staten Island. The BMP work included the construction of three (3) headwalls, a weir wall, and pipe collars.


Project: SETVDCC16 – Television Inspections & Digital Audio-Visual Recording of Sewers at Various Locations, NY

Client: NYC Dept. of Design & Construction

Cost: ~$2 million

YOR Engineering provided the Resident Engineering & Inspection Services for this project which included the television inspections & digital audio-visual recording of various sewers at various locations within the five (5) boroughs of New York City. Additionally, under this project, sewers of various sizes were cleaned prior to the TV inspections.


Project: HWS2021Q – Installation of Sidewalk, Adjacent Curbs & Pedestrian Ramps as Necessary in Various Locations, Queens, NY

Client: NYC Dept. of Design & Construction

Cost: ~$7 million

YOR Engineering provides the Resident Engineering & Inspection Services for this project which includes the installation of sidewalks, concrete/steel faced curb, and ADA compliant pedestrian ramps throughout the Borough of Queens.


Project: PS-312MX – Rehabilitation of Interceptor Sewer in South Street Between Fulton Street and Dover Street, Manhattan, NY

Client: NYC Dept. of Design & Construction

Cost: ~$29 million

YOR Engineering provides the Resident Engineering & Inspection Services for this project which includes the installation of a spiral wound PVC sewer liner to rehabilitate an interceptor sewer in downtown Manhattan, NY.
